Wheaton
March 6
Sunday
Welcome back to Wheaton Park! We will be offering a full set of courses, thanks for course setter Russ Damtoft, and course notes and details are now posted below.
Timing will be standard: Registration will be from 10:45am to 1:15pm, start any time between 11-1:30. Everyone must be out of the woods and back at the registration/finish area by 3:00pm, which is when we will begin picking up the controls. Note that the registration/start area being used this time is near the "Train Station".
Any youth or large groups attending, please contact the Meet Director so that we can coordinate pre-registration for your group; the group registration and waiver form is part of the information on our Group Leaders page.
Additional information:
- Dogs are welcome, so long as they are on a leash at all times.
- We do have access to full restroom facilities.
- There are no entrance fees to this park, and parking is also free.
- Map scales will be 1:5000 for white & yellow courses, 1:7500 for orange, and 1:10000 for all others.
- Have any questions? Just use our Contact Us form and fire away.
For those of you thinking of moving up a level, this is probably a good event to do so. The park is fairly flat and constrained, so you may enjoy running on a course that is a bit longer than your usual.

Course Notes | Classic Sunday's meet will feature the full range of standard courses. The course is neither large nor especially hilly, so the higher courses have a lot of controls, and there will be a premium on route choice and efficiency. Blue, Red, and Green will pass through areas close to the horse stables; if you encounter horses while running on the trails, please take care not to spook them. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
