$33pp Late/WalkUp Registration

No Event Director wants to turn away someone who didn't register for an event, and now, spurred by insurance requirements and our hard-working volunteers, we have a $33 per person walk-up registration form. This form can be used only if there are extra maps and the Event Director is assured the walk-up will be back by 3pm.

We heartily encourage you to avoid using this form! How? Just register and pay online before the event. It's that simple!

Congratulations Captains, Patriots and Panthers for NNOC 2023!

At the 2023 Navy National Orienteering Championship (NNOC), held 18-19 March at Hard Labor Creek State Park in Rutledge, Georgia, all three QOC partner units competing had great results in a tough field of 33 teams.

The Captains of Loudoun County H.S. finished 2nd overall in the team competition.

The Patriots of Governor Thomas Johnson H.S. placed 4th.

And the Panthers of Patuxent H.S. came in 10th.

All three units finished in the top 10 in the nation! Great job all around!

Royal Romp at Prince William Forest

Dates: March 11-12, 2023

Mark your calendars! We’ve got a great club event coming up in the second half of the 2022-2023 season – two days of classic orienteering at two great Prince William Forest Park venues: recently mapped Oak Ridge in the far northwest of the park, and the newly re-mapped Pine Grove in the southeast.

We look forward to seeing both QOC orienteers and guests from other clubs competing on our most challenging and enjoyable terrain! Head to royalromp.org for all details ...
