Congratulations to the Patriots and Captains orienteering teams for great performances at NNOC 2025!

At the 2025 Navy National Orienteering Championship (NNOC), held on 16-17 March at Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham, Alabama, Governor Thomas Johnson High School repeated as national champions and Loudoun County High School finished 3rd.

Among many standout individual performances: Chiara Davies of Governor TJ finished 2nd in the Junior Varsity Female (Orange-Y) category. Jack Barr of Governor TJ, Connor Quinn of Loudoun County and Simon Falibota of Governor TJ finished 1-2-3 in the Junior Varsity Male (Orange-X) category. And in the Varsity Male category (Green), Jayden Suarez and Calvin Smith of Governor TJ and Rowen Mendenhall of Loudoun County also finished 1-2-3, with Jayden winning the category for the second year in a row.

Congratulations also to Bill Johns of Loudoun County who finished first in over-55 cadre category and Jesus Martinez of Loudoun County who finished 3rd among under-55 cadre runners.
